East Rock Studio offers professional, affordable audio recording in a comfortable, relaxed environment.  No matter your level of experience, we can help you realize your recording goals.  Jef Wilson, our head engineer, has over 20 years of recording experience.  Jef creates a recording environment that centers on musicians and allows them to be creative while he handles the technical details.

East Rock Studio represents the best value in recording.  We provide fully modern equipment at the lowest possible cost.  East Rock Studio is an all-digital operation that takes advantage of computer-based editing and mixing.   We also have a solid collection of microphones, so there are always plenty of options for capturing your performance.

The studio itself has all of the features you would expect in a modern facility.  Our live room is spacious enough for a full band and our house drum kit is always tuned-up and ready to record.  We have an isolation booth for vocals and a large control room where you can share in the mixing process.

Perhaps our best feature is our location.  The East Rock area of New Haven is centrally-located and convenient for musicians all over the greater New Haven area.  We have off-street parking and are close to several music stores (just in case someone breaks a string).

East Rock Studio can deliver whatever you need in professional sound.  In addition to numerous musical artists, we have also done spoken-word and handled the recording for instructional CDs and videos.  We have extensive experience with on-site recording and live sound reinforcement.  We are musicians ourselves and we understand your needs.
